Mountain Biking from Valencia

Mountain Biking from Valencia

Last week I had the absolute pleasure of meeting a couple of mountain bikers from Finland.  They were spending some time in the city of Valencia and wished to incorporate some biking into their plans. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Karen and Chris from Manchester, UK.  They were on vacation in La Drova and had previously booked a day of guided mountain biking with me.  The day was especially interesting as Karen was training for a 400km bike trip across Cuba to raise funds for a women’s cancer charity.  You can see more information on Karen’s Blog. As well as an ideal training ride, we also included some fundamental off-road skills training.  The day began with a ride through the Barxeta valley, then through orange groves to the beautiful and historical town of [read more]
