I´ve just completed three days of guided mountain biking in Valencia with clients from across the globe, and all looking for something unique. The first day was with a very experienced mountain biker and athlete from UK. He wanted to explore the mountains around his holiday home and to have a day of hard riding in preparation for his next race.
The second day was with a couple from USA, both keen outdoor enthusiasts who were on holiday in Valencia and wanted to enjoy the mountain biking here whilst at the same time learning some new riding skills.
The third day was with a couple from Australia, who were travelling throughout Europe, and wanted to combine a guided mountain bike route with some cultural interest.
These three days have involved very different clients from different countries and back grounds, all with their own unique aims. As well as enjoying very interesting company, I´ve ridden with them on trails in the Sierra de Calderona, very close to Valencia, in the hills of the Albaida Valley and in the beautiful countryside that surrounds the historical town of Xativa.
All were very different people, with different aims and riding abilties, but all were a pleasure to be with, and what´s more enjoyed the superb mountain biking that Valencia has to offer.
