Bespoke Guided Mountain Bike Trips in the Beautiful Mountains and Countryside of Valencia.

MountainBikingValencia is based in the beautiful Mediterranean coastal city of Valencia, Spain. We provide private guided mountain bike trips for individuals, couples, small groups and families.  Our trips are designed around the wishes, abilities and needs of our clients and our philosophy of never mixing groups guarantees a bespoke trip and top level of personal service.

Our approach is what makes us different…

Our business model is unlike that of most professional guiding companies. Our approach is not simply to sell holidays purely dedicated to mountain biking. Instead, we provide our services on a much more flexible basis, giving the client the opportunity to design their own holiday or simply to enjoy a day with us.

For example, if you´d like a holiday with a group of friends that would comprise a full week of guided mountain bike tours, that can be easily arranged. Alternatively, if you are planning on spending some time in our area of Spain, and quite fancy a day or two biking as part of your holiday, that is just as easy to organise. Therefore, by being totally flexible and listening to your requirements, we can tailor our services to ensure that you gain maximum enjoyment without having to commit to a biking only holiday that may not suit all the members of your party or family.

We are proud to be be “Recommended” on Trip Advisor.  You can read client reviews here.

Should you require accommodation, you have the option of arranging it yourself, or alternatively should you prefer to have a single point of contact and book your accommodation and biking as a package, we are happy to arrange everything for you. Simply inform us of your requirements and we´ll respond with suitable options.

    Mountain Biking Holiday in Valencia

I´ve just come to the end of an absolutely fantastic week with a client from Ireland.  We had communicated by email over the past couple of months and together had designed a tailor-made break for him. As John was travelling alone and wanted a mountain biking holiday in Valencia, he had opted to stay in the heart of the historic quarter of the city, choosing one of the many self-catering apartments that are available there. The plan for the holiday was to begin with a 2-day skills course that also included a session on bike set-up and emergency repairs.  This was to be followed by a day of guided cross country mountain biking, then a rest day.  Following the rest day, we then had a further 3 days of guided cross country mountain biking.  Our philosophy of never mixing groups meant that the entire week was solely for John, with a [read more]

I recently had the pleasure of providing a couple of days of guided mountain biking for a couple from Cumbria, UK.  They were on holiday in Spain and had previously arranged with me to combine a city break and mountain biking in Valencia.  The close proximity to some stunning mountains makes Valencia an ideal destination for those wanting to combine a visit to this enchanting city with some cross country mountain biking. We met on our first morning on the outskirts of the city and made the short drive up into the hills, starting our ride at a mountain village high in the Sierra de Calderona. Our route began with a short climb up and over a ridge-line before a long and fabulous descent on rocky trails that took us through some remote hill country to the northern edge of the Sierra.  We dropped into a valley where we then [read more]

Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting Annabel, Mark and their son James.  They had travelled from Poland to spend a week in Valencia as a surprise celebration of Mark´s birthday.  I had previously communicated at length with Annabel, and together we´d designed a trip for them that was essentially a twin-centre holiday as a way of enjoying the diversity of the Valencian Community.  I really enjoyed working with them as one of my key priorities is to help my clients to make the absolute best of their time, to discover virtually unknown corners of Spain and to provide something bespoke. They spent their first few days in the beautiful Alqueria del Pilar in the village of Banyeres de Mariola, before making the easy drive to the city of Valencia where they spent the weekend.  That way, they had the opportunity to enjoy a stunning rural location followed by [read more]
